For Performers
From song idea or set list to stage-ready chart.
Harrington helps performers prepare originals and repertoire for live use: clean chords, clear flow, key-aware charts, and exports that work in OnSong, ChordPro, PDF, DOCX, and plain text.
The performance problem
A chart can look fine in a document and still fail on stage. The key changes. The bridge needs to repeat. The band needs section cues. Your iPad needs a clean file, not a pasted wall of text you have to fix during rehearsal.
Harrington is built for the handoff from writing and arranging to actually using the song live.
A typical workflow
- Import or write the song — start from an original, a plain text chart, ChordPro, or OnSong file.
- Clean up the chords — align chord rows with lyrics, update voicings, and keep the chart readable for rehearsal.
- Set the key — use key-aware chord handling and choose Nashville numbers or chord symbols when you export.
- Arrange the flow — set the live order independently from the written section order: V1 → C → V2 → C → B → C.
- Export for the stage — send OnSong or ChordPro to your iPad, or create PDF and DOCX lead sheets for the band.

The authorship question
For originals, Harrington suggests and analyzes without taking over. You choose what belongs, adjust it in your own voice, and remain the author of the song.
For repertoire, Harrington helps prepare a working chart for songs you perform. It does not grant rights, claim ownership, or turn someone else's song into yours.
